Forum Music Teachers' Association of Houston, Inc.

The specific object of this corporation shall be:

To stimulate self-improvement in the membership.
To encourage support of all worthwhile musical activities which contribute cultural growth. To further student knowledge and skill in the field of music. To promote high standards in music education and performance.

The Association is organized and operates exclusively for educational and professional purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c (6) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation’s activities shall be directed to the improvement of professional conditions for music teacher and shall be for the promotion of the art of music and the advancement of musical knowledge by disseminating the knowledge of musical activities and the appreciation of music.

Forum Music Teachers' Educational Foundation, Inc.

The Forum Music Teachers Educational Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. All activities of the corporation shall be educational and shall be for the promotion of the art of music and the advancement of musical knowledge by disseminating the knowledge of musical activities and the appreciation of music.
